Drunk in the Spirit and laughing - is it real?

"what does the bible say about spiritual laughter and getting filled with the holy spirit and being drunk?"

The bible does not say anything about spiritual laughter. People laugh and act up. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is not madness, it brings people to repentance and the fear of God, not sensuality.

Can people go to heaven if they don't have a relationship with Jesus?

"Can people who read scriptures still go to Heaven if they serve Jesus yet he hardly or does not at all have a relationship yet they still preach truth of Jesus (forsake sins, make restitution when necessary, stop sinning, refute false doctrine etc.)?"

Jesus is the only one who can tell you that. Jesus said we must strive hard because the door that leads to life is narrow and few will find it. That does not leave much room for those who are not serious about following and obeying Jesus.

Ye are the salt of the earth - What does it mean?

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Matthew 5:13

Mark 9:50
Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltiness, with which will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. Mark 9:50

Salt is a preservative, if it has lost it's saltiness it is not good as a preservative or to add taste to food. The Christians are to be salt, to prevent the rotting of society and also to add flavor. A Christian who does not obey Jesus and live in righteousness and condemns the wrong in society, is useless.

Is Purgatory real?

"it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment," Hebrews 9:27.

Judgment will be final and there is only one of two destinations.
It will either be heaven or the lake of fire for eternal torment.

"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelations 20:12-15.

There is no purgatory and there is no way of coming out of hell.

"And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night," Revelations 14:11.

Is it ever too late for forgiveness?

Not until the day you die. Once you die it is all over but until then we can cry out for mercy. Jesus will not reject anyone. Do not wait and hope for a death bed repentance, we don't know when our time is up.

Contradictions in the Bible

If there are any contradictions we always refer back to the words of Jesus. Jesus is Lord, He is the Word of God (not the Bible). All others are men, flesh and blood. The words of Jesus take preference over the words of the apostles also.

The words of Jesus take preference over everything. His words are printed in red in some Bibles. We find the words of Jesus as recorded by the witnesses, in the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The gospels all testify of Jesus. They were written from the account of the eyewitnesses who heard and who saw Jesus.

“If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. “For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. “I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:47-50.

Can blasphemy against the Holy Spirit be forgiven?

It is written: "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him." Luke 12:10.

It is however not for us to judge or to decide. Jesus is the judge, He will decide. We only have one chance and that is to seek Him with all our hearts and cry for mercy. NEVER STOP SEEKING JESUS and do not let anybody prevent you from seeking Jesus. Many people who believed they were doomed have cried out to Jesus and received confirmation from Him that He accepted them.

Does hell burn for ever?

What we know is from the revelations given to people who wrote it down:

“Then they will go forth and look
On the corpses of the men
Who have transgressed against Me.
For their WORM WILL NOT DIE
And their FIRE WILL NOT BE QUENCHED;
And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind.” Isaiah 66:24.

The revelations given to the apostle John:
"Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelations 20:14,15.

Many people have also received revelation in modern times. I had a heart attack, left my body and was drawn down a deep black hole. I pleaded with Jesus and was given a second chance. my testimony is below.

I received a message from the Lord which led me to the testimony of Mary K Baxter's visions of heaven and hell.
My revelation from Jesus:

What happens after death?

The parable of Lazarus and the rich man gives us an indication of what happens after death. (Luke 16:19-31) Immediate separation takes place between the children of God and those who would not serve Him.

Final judgment will take place in the end: "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Revelations 20:12-15

Spiritual bodies are resurrected for judgment, not physical bodies. "They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies." 1 Corinthians 15:44

How do you LEAVE everything and follow Jesus?

It is a principle decision to follow Jesus at all cost and to do what He guides you into doing.
Firstly you need to dedicate your life to Jesus and obey Him, live holy and righteous in obedience to His words, as written in the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The Holy Spirit will also convict you in your heart of sin, righteousness and judgment. Obey His voice speaking in you.
Jesus will reveal Himself to you more and more and convict you of things that you need to stop doing, bad habits, thoughts etc. Obey do not resist. If you need to stop hobbies and get rid of wrong friends, LEAVE them behind.
LEAVE your own interests and desires behind and seek to please Jesus.
Ultimately He may guide to go to wherever He wants to use you. Then, LEAVE everything behind.
Make sure that you follow Jesus and not your own mind. You will eventually need to leave your own mind behind and focus only on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus does not lead you to leave your responsibilities. You need to take care of your family and honor your commitments, work and earn an honorable living. He will not allow us to desert our responsibilities.

Get to know the voice of Jesus and follow him. His sheep do. John 10:27.
Those who follow Jesus do nothing on their own initiative, they do what the Holy Spirit guides them to do.

How do I get ready and stay ready for Jesus' return?

Repent of sin, invite Jesus into your heart. Accept Him as Lord and Master of your life. Stop serving yourself and obey the words of Jesus. Be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Get into a relationship with Jesus. Pray and listen to His Spirit speaking in your heart. Live holy, remove all obstacles from your life that come between you and Jesus and cause you to sin.
Change your way of living. Let your whole life center around Jesus and pleasing Him.
Witness for Jesus. If you do not witness you are useless for the kingdom of heaven.
Constantly focus on Jesus in prayer at all times of the day and night always, and Jesus will reveal Himself to you.
Pray always, expect Jesus and He will put His thoughts into your mind.
Never let up one day, follow Jesus every day of your life.

How can I strengthen my love for Christ and God?

Jesus said:"Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" Luke 6:46 and also: "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." John 14:15.
We demonstrate our love to Jesus through our obedience to His words. Obedience to Jesus carries a high price. If we obey Him we will be rejected, scorned, mocked, persecuted and even killed. The strength and increase of love comes through the endurance. As we endure, even in the face of difficulty, our love for Jesus will increase.

How painful is hell?

Jesus told us how painful hell is in Luke 16:24 “And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

Many people like to regard it as a parable but we will be wise to accept the words of Jesus, He is God and He knows.

What is our cross, how do we deny ourselves?

And He said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

What is our cross and how deny ourselves?

Our cross is our flesh, our sinful nature. We must disallow ourselves our own desires and pleasures and deliberately do the will of God, which means that we obey the words of Jesus and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

How does God speak?

God speaks to us in many ways but we do not take notice.

“Indeed God speaks once,
Or twice,
yet no one notices it.
“In a dream, a vision of the night,
When sound sleep falls on men,
While they slumber in their beds,
Then He opens the ears of men,
And seals their instruction,
That He may turn man aside from his conduct,
And keep man from pride;
He keeps back his soul from the pit,
And his life from passing over into Sheol.
“Man is also chastened with pain on his bed,
And with unceasing complaint in his bones;
So that his life loathes bread,
And his soul favorite food.
“His flesh wastes away from sight,
And his bones which were not seen stick out.
“Then his soul draws near to the pit,
And his life to those who bring death.
“If there is an angel as mediator for him,
One out of a thousand,
To remind a man what is right for him,
Then let him be gracious to him, and say,
‘Deliver him from going down to the pit,
I have found a ransom’;
Let his flesh become fresher than in youth,
Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;
Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him,
That he may see His face with joy,
And He may restore His righteousness to man.
“He will sing to men and say,
‘I have sinned and perverted what is right,
And it is not proper for me.
‘He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit,
And my life shall see the light.’
“Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men,
To bring back his soul from the pit," Job 33:14-30.

Nothing happens to us without reason. God loves us and allows circumstances to come our way to get our attention. We are so busy with our own affairs that we fail to see the hand of God in everything.

If we are pure in heart, we shall observe the hand of God:"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8.

Which version of the Bible is best?

Most modern Bible translations have been modified and fornicated to reflect the interpretations of men. In older versions all reference to Jesus and God were in caps - that has been replaced with underscore letters which shows that the Bible publishers have no respect for God.

The older versions are more pure: The KJV, ASV, NASV etc. KJV is old English. The NKJV reads easier, however it is good to always refer back to the older versions. Some modern Bibles have omitted certain sections of scripture.

It is important to note that we will be judged by the words of Jesus, recorded in the gospels, those are most important. In some red letter Bibles the words of Jesus are in red.

Is the Bible the Word of God?

No. The Bible is a collection of scriptures. The holy scriptures testify of Jesus that He Himself is the Word of God.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.Through him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

"He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which He is called is The Word of God." Revelations 19:13.

Where to go for guidance

There is only one place that we should go for guidance.

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ASK OF GOD, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5.

God will not chase you away or rebuke you. He loves you. We should not go to people for council or guidance."
Thus says the LORD, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD." Jeremiah 17:5

God made the ear, He can hear. He can speak also. Wait on Him, trust Him and He will give you wisdom. Jesus is alive!

What to read?

Nothing is as important as the words of Jesus. Everyone will be judged by the words of Jesus.

“As for the person who hears My words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say.” John 12:47-50

The words that Jesus spoke were recorded in the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
